Thank you for listening to my mixes. I hope you found a new song you love and a new artist to uplift and support <3
I’ve been hosting FLWRPOT RADIO (2024-2025)
FLWRPOT.CO website coming soon.
A 1 hour bimonthly radio show under Shared Frequencies Radio that ran twice a month online. Baile Studies is a research project to challenge myself in the different avenues of dance music. The goal is to genre bend and keep it themed to a piece of my musical resonances.
Baile Studies (2023)
LUYA’S
From 2022-2023, Hierba Malita created a multi-genre 1-hour specialty radio show to broadcast live on KVRX 91.7 FM weekly.
LUYA’S Radio is about exploring all those genre's that make me Luya, while mixing live on a dj controller. The genre-bending transitions are to die for. It all depends on the song, the energy, the intention.

Left of The Dial
For Nov 4 2022, LUYA’S RADIO was featured on KUTX 98.9 FM, for their collaborative weekly programming with KVRX 91.7 FM, called Way Left of The Dial. This became a birthday special with several Hierba Malita’s favorites.
RESONANCE
This 30 minute community show is really special.
I created it as a journey for spiritual growth. All playlists have a theme with songs curated to story-tell the lesson learned that week. I spoke about love, making mistakes, and pushing forward.
Elevator Girls
A 30 min weekly specialty show with DJ Grafiter. The concept Elevator Girls was about getting higher with each song played. Each song is a stop on the elevator, once the song is over - you get back in the elevator, and go up one level. There is no building, its all energetic and intentional.
Karmic Hours
A 1 hour weekly specialty show in collaboration with DJ Mariposa. The concept for Karmic Hours was to create a fantasy led by the brujas of the station. Magical music paired with live tarot readings and astrological interpretations.
THE MERRY-GO-ROUND
This show was my debut as a DJ on KVRX 91.7 FM. A weekly 1 hour freestyle show: prerecorded, mixed, and edited by me, since it was the beginning of COVID and no one was allowed on campus.
I envisioned this show as a smoke circle, where my friends could tune in and talk about what they liked about the show. Just a moment of community and finding new music.
